The 1997 film "Jackie Brown" use of lighting, music, edginess, and reality of the day to day life of a woman struggling to accept her life and hopes of making a better life for herself grabbed my attention. I love Tarantino's use of lighting and real life authenticity to this scene where Jackie Brown gets out of jail and is greeted by her bail bondsman, Max. It's obvious as she is walking out of jail in the darkness that he starts to fall in love with her.

A Streetcar Named Desire
I'm obsessed with black and white movies! If you are not a fan of them I
suggest you watch "A Streetcar Named Desire". Every aspect of the
movie from the directing, production, lighting, and acting is stellar.
