As an individual who has brainstormed many artistic ideas
over the years, yet has never given birth to any of them, I am taking this
opportunity to explore, express, and bring to light my artistic ideas. Being a novice
in expressing my creative side I will explore all avenues of my artistic talent
by utilizing images and digital media hoping to motivate others like myself
while paving a new and exciting career for myself in the world of public
relations and media.
My motivation and inspiration centers around the vast world of music,
fashion, travel, pop culture and public icons. I’m continuously inspired by
numerous classic movies and actors of yesterday, while keeping a watchful eye
on the present day leading actors' and directors. I’m drawn to black and white cinematography, impeccable wardrobe, and polite manners of yesterday. Classic movies such as “A
Star is Born,” “A Streetcar Named Desire,” and “Humoresque.” Inspire me to
recreate the images, wardrobe, and stories of love and heartache that we can
all relate to. Also, I’m obsessed by any movie directed by Quentin Tarantino; I
worship "Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2." I love all the various styles of cinematography
that he incorporates into his films.
Growing up within the isolated world of rural Minnesota, it’s been my
dream to passionately explore the world around me. I possess a genuine down to
earth mentality coupled with a lovable and naïve personality with a touch of class.
My obsessive compulsive nature has me striving to create and secure a simple, organized
lifestyle, and mentality that keeps me grounded in this ever chaotic modern
world that I live in but constantly try to escape from.
